The End of the World

There is a great amount of attention focused towards the subject of 2012, which many historical calendars and cultures believe is the year that represents the end of the world. I believe that the world is in fact coming to an end I’m not sure when exactly, maybe sooner better than later. In our world today I see and hear many things which catch my attention and make me think a lot.

I believe the world can't take any more damage from humans; we have abused this planet in so many different ways to the point in which we are not only satisfied with abusing the planet so we started abusing ourselves. Today, we live a life which is all about materials, in other words it's all about money and class. People forgot the sense of care and love and are more involved in the material sense. People forgot religion and are all sucked into living life at large. So maybe the world is in fact coming to an end and really soon, all the events occurring today are not a good sign for the future.

“For every beginning there is an end”. Some endings are happy and some ending are sad, in the case of our planet I’m not sure what kind of ending we will have, and for some reason we are used to see happy endings maybe this time around it won’t be that happy.

Like Father like Son or Great Father greater Son

I would like to share a story about how my father and I share many characteristics in common. Since I was a little boy I use to listen to my relatives and relative friends say “oh you look like your father” or “you act like your father”. One day I actually decided to look at the pictures on the family albums to see if my father actually looked like me when he was my age, I was stunted to actually discover how identical my father and I look. Now, that I’m older, I hear my mother say “you are an identical figure of your father in everything”, I actually found out that I talk, act, react, sound, and do everything like him. The fact doesn’t bother me at all, because my father is actually a very successful man. I look up on my father, I can say that he inspires me to become successful in him I see a strong character and a family many. He is currently one of the most experienced diplomats in Libya; he has brought the relations between Libya and the US into good terms. In conclusion, I’m glad that I actually resemble my father, maybe one day I can be like him or even better and people would say “great father and greater son”.
